Updated SiteSince I will not be posting new podcasts on a regular schedule, I thought I would try something different on my site. Everything except the introduction is now in the archives. I have a lot of good podcasts for you to search for (of course I am biased), should you choose to do so. Anyway good luck and let me know what you think, positive and negative feedback welcome. Enjoy. I am in the process of updating my hashtags. I am adding new tags to all my podcasts to make them easier to find. Just type in a category, like abortion, and see what podcasts pop up.
The Plan of SalvationHello, if you listen to my podcasts you will hear me talk about how we need to have the relationship between us and God restored. What does this mean? That means we need to accept the salvation Jesus offers and let Him restore that relationship. Let me explain how we do that: 1) Recognize the Plan-John 3:16-17 informs us that God has a plan that will save everyone that will allow it, thereby restoring the broken relationship between us and God 2) Recognize the Problem-Romans 3:23 lets us know that we are all sinners and have fallen short of God's standard of moral perfection needed to get to heaven. This sin is also what originally broke the relationship between us and God. 3) Recognize the Present-Romans 6:23 tells us what will happen to anyone that has sinned: they will die and be eternally in torment seperated from God (this is the death that is mentioned in this verse). God, however has a gift of eternal life for us. 4) Recognize the Passion-Romans 5:8 shows us the passion God has for us. While we were still His enemies, living our lives to please ourselves, God (Jesus) died on a cross to pay the price for our sins. He shed His blood to cover our sins, restore the broken relationship, and begin the perfecting process. 5) Recognize the Process-Romans 10:8-10 tells us that if we believe in our hearts that we need saving and that Jesus died to save us; and we confess (publically) these beliefs with our mouth, we will be saved and have the relationship restored. If what The Bible said makes sense to you, I would encourage you to pray this prayer. Jesus I know I am a sinner. I know my sins cost me a lot. I know that You paid the price for my sins. Thank You for that sacrifice. Thank You for saving me. I invite You into my heart and life. Make me more like You. Amen If you prayed this prayer I would encourage you to find a church that will teach, preach, and live God's Word. If you need any help finding one contact me (see contact info). If you live in Gaffney, SC, and you do not have a church home, then I would encourage you to join us for worship. We worship together on Sunday morning at 10 (see contact info for the address)
